First presented in Simona Vanth’s SS20 The New Arabian Nights collection, the Giudecca is offered this season in an appropriately Venetian mood. The upper, a twist on an old Simona Vanth loafer, is made from premium brush-off leather, as is the inner sole. The wooden sole is made from European beech wood and has been over-printed with a water transfer pattern of what Italians call radica, a wood veneer made from the tree root and particularly popular in early 20th century decorating. Please note that this printed pattern may chip through use, we believe, though, that this adds to the charm.
