The Captain is an entirely new model that takes as its original point of reference the classic desert boot, and in particular the way it is worn by a certain kind of young French boy or girl on his or her Mediterranean summer holidays: often of good family, often cosmopolitan and well read, and not afraid to make it known, and almost always dressed in (together with the desert boots) worn-out jeans and a polo shirt with a soft pack of cigarettes rolled up into a sleeve... The Captain takes this very particular panache and transforms it into a desert boot-babouche with an oversized leather ribbon lace that should be casually tied like the silk neck scarf of a young dandy. As with the Spa and Marine, the soft and unstructured look of the shoe is guaranteed by the quality of the Italian calfskin used to construct the shoes.
