Fuku II “Amalfi” is a limited edition reworking of our Fuku Summer sandal, originally inspired by Japanese geta sandals with their distinctive raised “teeth” at the front and rear of the sole. Fuku II in fact maintains this signature detail, reimagined in ultralight EVA and a full Italian leather insole for greatest comfort and freshness. The upper is an oversized thong band, reminiscent of 90s surfer and poolside sandals, reinterpreted with poetic Simona Vanth materials, in this case metallic napa lambskin leather and custom-printed Amalfi ribbon, an homage to the Simona Vanth hometown and our favourite place in the world to watch the sun come up. Of course, as with all our shoes, the sandal is 100% Made in Italy in a small factory using a network of local suppliers. The Fuku II “Amalfi” is a one-off limited edition produced in only four pieces and will never be re-released in the same colours and materials.
